This Around the World Baby Shower was created by Lisa Luebe from the Sweet Pop Studio and she did a wonderful job! With a vintage feel and muted colors this event had a warm and cheerful vibe.
The treat table was innovative, with Baby spelled out and covered with map paper that really attracted attention. There were vintage chests with a fantastic globe on top that introduced the theme well.
The food was brilliantly done. There were all kinds of fun things to try out, like the baby jars of carrots and celery that were stacked in dip. They added bright colors and neat texturing to the table. There was a tiered tray of yummy looking éclairs tagged with an adorable sign so everyone would know exactly what they were.
There were bright red tomato kabobs that looked delicious and the always-popular pickle wraps. But my favorite treat on the table were the light blue globe cake-pops. They were done impeccably with small sticks coming out of them tagged with “Baby Boy”.
The favors were small succulents of different varieties, wrapped up in brown craft paper and then tied up with raffia and lovely ribbon; they were neatly placed on an awesome old, weathered garden bench.
One neat idea was having each drinking glass labeled with circular tags saying “Cheers” from different world languages on them. Each one was in a different color that went right along with the vintage world theme. The beverage table itself had a cute banner of flags that had maps printed on them along with wonderful pitchers of juice and sangria.
The other major detail at this event that I enjoyed were the pinwheels that were placed in a garden bed . The pinwheels were put together with map paper as well and really pulled all the decorations together.
