Gender Reveal party is such a fun idea! The party features decorations of blue mustaches and pink lips to help party goers choose a side in regards to whether the baby is going to be a boy or a girl. The decorations are beautifully neutral and perfectly subtle. A wonder combination of class and style.
Beyond the mustache and lip straws, there is a chalkboard set up just inside the door to keep tally of whose vote goes to the baby being a boy and whose goes to the baby being a girl. Each person on ‘Team Boy’ gets a blue bow and each person on ‘Team Girl’ gets a pink ribbon to wear throughout the party. I thought this was a brilliant idea!
The best part, though, is the cake! The cake is at the center of the whole celebration. With swirling white icing on the outside and a finish line poised on top, the anxiously awaiting couple can cut through to its core and find out their baby’s gender together when the middle of the very first piece is revealed. It is hard to imagine a more interesting and unique way to celebrate such a special day!
