This Palm Springs Pop Art event was put together splendidly by Alchemy Fine Events. It made a lovely wedding and would be brilliant as a baby shower as well! A very special baby shower!
Everything was set up outside by a pool giving a nice elegant feel to the whole party. The pool itself was decorated with balloons and floaties. With silver, vintage chairs the room had a gentle, inviting atmosphere. The rectangle tables were all lined up straight, this event was very thoughtfully put together. There was even a scattering of lights hung that lit the area up.
The tables were layered in an array of colors ranging from light pinks to bright greens. With a white tablecloth as a base, all of the patterns and colors really stood out. There were adorable little glasses with tiny cactus’ that gave the tables a warm feeling. In addition, there were tiny tumblers with candles burning that illuminated the area.
The treat table was lovely, glasses stood together and were set up with bow ties, adding more fun to the event. There were lemons set on a tiered-tray and in a large bowl that gave depth to the table. A pyramid of lemonheads really stole the show in bright yellow boxes in perfectly symmetric order. There were even celebratory treat cigars in yellow, green and red.
As a personal touch for this event, a comic had been written about the happy couple and a copy was given to each guest after being rolled up and tied with an adorable little bow. That would make a brilliant personal touch for a baby shower as well! One of the other neat touches that had been added was a canvas pop art picture. It was hung outside as a main decoration and really brought the whole theme together.
