The Lilac and Pink Butterfly Themed Baby Shower by Maressa of Pequenos Luxos is one of the most darling showers out there. Done in delicate shades of pink and lilac juxtaposed with white, the setup has an aura of elegance and grace. Each element perfectly emphasizes delicate femininity, from the frosting to the arrangement.
While everything is exquisitely prepared and displayed, from the party favors in net bags and the paper flower wrappers for the bonbons, to the suitcase containers and the birdhouse cupcake holders, to the birdcages turned vases and the miniature cocktail jars with fabric ribbons.
The cake was the true stand out of the table. As the centerpiece, it does a fantastic job capturing the limelight. Despite its size, it maintains a soft, subtle look. The bottom tier is plain lilac, with the name displayed inside frosting baby rompers. In contrast, the second tier is white with a embossed pattern, each vertex intersection decorated with small flowers. On top is a veritable bouquet of frosting flowers, arranged in a bunch. Interspersed over the cake are butterflies in pink, lilac and white, looking as if they are about to take flight.
Although designed as a baby shower, with some changes this setup can work for any occasion.
Originally planned to match the colors of the nursery of Karen, the credit of the design goes to Pequenos Luxos, also responsible for the printables, and Atelier Sophie.
