A Pirate Themed Party –
A celebration of your child’s life is always warranted. You want to make them feel as special as they are to you, and invite family, and friends to help celebrate the occasion. This Pirate Themed party is adorable and will ultimately make your child feel as special as they are. It is fit for any youth as he sails the sea into another year of life. The party was creatively executed by Maressa Lacerda of Pequenos Luxos, a graphic designer who wanted to make her son’s sixth birthday a time to remember. The party theme makes use of red, black and white in a variety of different ways. The most prominent features, that displays the colors are the use of the pinstripe, red and white, backdrop on the dessert table and black and white pinstripes on the drinking glasses.
The cake is one of the most standout pieces in this party. The bottom tier of the cake is covered in white fondant with red stripes, A plaque with the birthday boy’s name is displayed in the center of the tier as well. The second tier is covered in black. Skull and cross bones are decorated around this layer. On the top of the cake is an earth tone treasure chest. The handles of the chest are gold. Cute Cute Cute. Another standout element are the tiny paper pirate sailboats. The brown miniature boats are filled with little candies and the sails of the boat are done in red and white pinstripes.
The party favors are also adorable in this party theme. Little treasure chests stamped with the captains seal are sure to hold some immaculate bounty. The little vials filled with notes ( a message in a bottle) are a cute addition as well. The cohesive food labels, and printable, along with the flow of colors bring this party theme together.
