This Apple of My Eye baby shower was created for a wonderful mom-to-be who also happened to be a teacher, making the celebration fit her passion perfectly. The photographer Sarah also helped plan this wonderful get-together, ensuring everything was excellent.
Using pink, red and gray, the invitations were gorgeous. They had a lovely red frame and a flag banner with real, tiny ribbons at the top, making them look fantastic.
The flag banner decoration was also used at the venue, it was hung in a doorway and had a variety of fun patterns that really made it stand out. Baby-to-be’s name was spelled out with a letter on each flat in gray and white, making a neat contrast to the pink flags.
With a lot of bright natural colors the snack table looked delicious. The table used was black, creating a great base for the white dishes that were showcasing the treats. There was a jar with celery sticks that really added a bright touch. Letters GROW were placed in the center. One interesting little treat was a pudding cup that had crumbled oreos and an adorable little plant. There were even a tray with crackers and cheese to munch on.
The cake was very adorable, rounded on a cake-tray that allowed it to shine beautifully. With a sweet mini-flag banner, it fit precisely into the theme.
Another decoration that was spread throughout the venue area were paper mache apples. As a DIY craft, these looked fantastic and really emphasized the Apple of My Eye celebration.
For party favors, Amilia, mom-to-be, made apple-shaped sugar cookies. They were decorated with an apple blossom stamp and gorgeous tags. All of the little details really brought this party together, ensuring memories that would last for years to come.
