Sock Monkey Baby Shower by Stephanie of Pretty Lovely Events
Stephanie put together a shower with a unique twist. This Red & Aqua Sock Monkey Baby Shower doubled as a party and a brunch with a waffle bar! What a creative idea!
The treat/food table was a delight with a very organized method of distributing dishes. The table was draped in layered cloths, red polka-dots covered in an elegant white. It was tied in the center with a cute little red bow. The back drop was a fun blue color and had a fantastic flag banner promoting Sweet Monkey in a variety of patterns.
The food at this party was wonderful looking! With a wide array of options to choose from, the guests were bound to find something they would love. There was, of course, the delicious looking waffle bar that had strawberries, bananas and blueberries to munch on.
With yogurt parfaits, popcorn, donuts and other yummy treats, this party had it all in the eating arena. The centerpiece of the dessert table was perfection with a sock monkey hanging on top of layers of tiered cupcakes.
The beverage table was very lovely with different juices to try and adorable little glasses of chocolate milk with little swirly straws.
The gift table matched very well with the theme, a white cloth decorated with another lovely flag banner.
One of my favorite decorations was the welcome desk that was set up for guests to type in their “words of wisdom” for Mom-to-be. This innovative idea really fit the theme fantastically and was decorated with a back drop of wonderful photos pertaining to the little one they were celebrating. With books and vases of beautiful red flowers designed by Pen N’ Paper Flowers, this desk was immaculately designed. The typewriter was even old-fashioned, bringing a vintage feel to the event that really made it one-of-a-kind.
