With a beautifully vintage look, this “Nothing Compares to Her” themed baby shower in mint, pink, and gold had a smooth combination of pastel colors and detailing that really brought the party to life. Created by Mom-to-be’s (Latasha of Ike & Tash Photography and Motion) sister Melinda, this event was sure to be remembered forever.
The tables were set up in one long, rectangular row that allowed all the guests to be close together. With beautiful neutral toned cloths, the tables really showcased the fantastic floral arrangements that were centered on each one. The place settings were all laid out perfectly with a beautiful personalized note for each to enjoy while they ate together.
The mom-to-be’s chair was specially set aside with a beautiful array of ribbons that drew attention to the reason for the wonderful gathering. Even the glasses were part of the celebration with adorable little onsies on each one.
The buffet table was chock full of delicious foods for everyone to munch on. From veggies and salad to sandwiches, there was definitely something there for each guest to enjoy.
One unique touch that was created at this party was a wish board of canvas that allowed everyone to write down a thought for mom-to-be and baby and then pin them up.
The dessert table was definitely one-of-a-kind. A vintage buffet that had a mirror in the background, really enhance the full effect. The entire buffet was completely filled with yummy treats from top to bottom, giving a fantastic look. The cake was decadence draped in vibrant pink frosting that was detailed to the last bit. Set on a lovely white tray, this cake made a glamorous centerpiece.
With a couch set outside for mom-to-be to relax on while opening all of her great gifts, this outdoor event really had a bit of everything that you could want in a shower.
