This fantastic party, based on Disney’s magical musical “Frozen” is absolutely fantastic. The theme is portrayed through the details such as the color theme, the two-tier birthday cake, as well as the tastefully chosen decorations. The turquoise background features crisp white snowflakes cascading down the curtain. Taylor’s mom (Ela) shows her love of the movie through the beautiful delicacies displayed on the dessert table. I love the cute snowflakes, they really do make you feel like you are part of “Frozen”, and the light icy-blue come out and is emphasized even more by the burgundy and blue pastel flowers decorations.
The lights and candy cane bring a more festive feel to the decorations, it is as if magic will happen right there and then! Theme-matching plates display treats that also have snowflake patterns. Taylor is definitely a little princess – her mom has prepared tiny colorful tiaras for everyone. Cute movie characters appear everywhere – in the form of the treats, such as the ice fish, or cut-out figures covering the food bowls.
Another detail that makes the party so wonderful are the small sweets, such as marshmallows on sticks, blue jello and frozen cake pops that look elegant and appealing. Even the party table is decorated with a light blue tablecloth, with set blue plates and even bottles of light blue ice water.
The two-tier birthday cake in the centre of the table is absolutely stunning. The top fondant is light blue in color, covered with beautiful piping work of ribbons and snowflakes. The cake almost comes to live, and tells the story of “Frozen” through the little figurines displayed on it. The detail on it is admirable, as Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Sven, Hans and even Olaf find their way to be part of this gorgeous cake. The glitter-covered trees and snowflakes emphasize the theme. This birthday party will definitely be remembered by little 4-year old Taylor as the time when her favorite movie became real.
