Picnic Party Time!
When winter starts to ease up there is only one place a child wants to be, outside! Here are some wonderful, beautiful party ideas that will get the children outside and bring everyone together. Wonderful ideas for a memorable Picnic baby shower! Perfect for children’s play date and birthday parties too!
Heather Scheif, of Sweet Boochie, put together a very cute picnic themed party. Some of the great ideas that she created include; a tiny wooden wheel barrel and basket, cute strawberry shortcake cups and matching tablecloth, hanging frames, elegant white cake stands, strawberry garland for decorating, wooden spoons, and the cutest strawberry sunglasses. The red bakers twine used on dessert cups and drinking cups are such a great touch to the theme. The green striped straws and the strawberry patterned ribbon around the cake stand are so perfect too! I like how the burlap is used as place mats for the drinking cups. It gives a nature, outdoor feel. Every decoration flows so well.
Another way to catch the children’s attention is to have great party favors and the strawberry shaped sunglasses is a great start! Small woven baskets filled with treats, lollipops with their name’s on them, and beautiful headbands with pink flowers on them are all perfect ways to keep the children happy at your beautiful picnic.
