Poppy Themed Baby Shower by Lilian of Lily Chic Events.
Lilian with Lily Chic Events created a masterpiece with this 1920’s Poppy Themed Baby Shower. Upon entering the party area there was an old-school typewriter set-up for guest to give the new baby their wishes.
The tables were set-up in a nice straight line and there was an abundance of white giving an elegant, clean feeling. All the chairs were white along with the main tablecloths, which really made the black of the paisley on the table runner stand out. Each place setting was done with white plates accented by a lovely tea cup and poppy flower cupcake on the top.
The centerpieces for the tables were divine. Small vases set up with gorgeous black and white flowers standing on top of vintage books. They provided true gracefulness to this 1920’s theme.
The treat table was spectacular, every detail was perfectly executed from the lace draped underneath the table to the backdrop of paper flowers. The table was packed full of delicious treats for guests to enjoy. A tiered tray of macaroons in different colors caught my eye. And the boxes on each end were personally labeled for each guest to take home, they were fantastic.
There were little tumblers labeled Turkish Delights that looked decadent. And of course the cupcakes popped brilliantly with red poppy right on top of each one. There were even white and cherry chocolate covered pretzels in lovely trays. Perfectly placed tumblers with Persian Nougats added even more to this appealing treat table.
There were even little cake-pops, dressed up like the cupcakes in white frosting and topped with tiny red poppy flowers and all stuck with sticks that were wrapped in black ribbons. The cake was a vision of excellence with a very simple circle on top of a fantastic red tray. A lovely red flower topped it, matching with the cupcakes and brought the whole even together in a delicious looking way.
