Superbowl inspired Baby Shower by Shannon of Parties and Potty Training.
This adorable football baby shower is the perfect way for football fans to celebrate an upcoming birth. The baby shower is football themed leaving nothing out. The snack table sits in front of a wall that is decorated with a yellow goalpost, the baby’s initials and masculine colored pennants. The snack table is covered in a table cloth that is very similar to the AstroTurf you would find in the football stadium.
On top of the creative table covering sits all of the snacks you would find at a Super Bowl party. These foods are mainly appetizer related such as wings, chips and dip, puppy chow, Queso and fruit pizzas. Along with the snacks sits a homemade Super Bowl trophy to continue to bring the baby shower’s theme together. No baby shower is complete without a cake. The cake for this football themed baby shower is two tiered with the bottom tier in red and the top tier in white. The cake accented with x and o’s that can be found in any football locker room.
The drink table sits in front of a wall that has a replica of the Metlife Stadium scoreboard. Of course, it is showing that the home team in winning to truly show off your baby and your team spirit. The drink table consists of red fruit bunch in a large glass dispenser, as well as root beer bottles, and Mason jar glasses. The water bottles are chilled in a tin pail. They show a label that is black and white striped and look similar to the uniform of a football referee.
The baby shower theme is also decorated with bronze football statue and a football helmet. The color theme of the baby shower is red and blue which you can see in pennants, as well as fan flags that read “Go Team”.
