This beautiful Ahoy it’s a Boy Baby Shower was designed by Christine of Fancy That! Events. She put together an elegant and sophisticated celebration that was sure to impress mom-to-be and all of the guests who attended.
From the entrance, guests were welcomed to the party with a gorgeous little note that was written in a fantastic, blue font. The colors for the theme were red, white and blue, offering a classic and beautiful palette for the venue to be decorated in. Using adorable objects like life preservers and miniature boats, the Nautical Theme really stood out.
The tables had a variety of covers, all blue and white some with rope art and some with a cute chevron pattern that brought the outdoor venue a fantastic touch of color. With white chairs, the reds and blues of all the decorations highlighted the entire area.
The flowers were fantastic, bountiful bouquets of red and blue that overfilled fun troughs. They were placed around the tables perfectly, adding a nautical nature touch that was certain to be enjoyed.
The desserts were wonderfully created and displayed, offering the guests sweet little delights to enjoy during mom-to-be’s party. There were lovely cookies that were decorated to look like life preservers on water, really emphasizing the little details.
The cake was the true show-stopper, a vision of perfection that had to taste as good as it looked. Set on a tall cake tray, the three layers of deliciousness offered a very large and beautiful decoration for the buffet table. It was topped with a fantastic anchor, really showing off the theme neatly. The center layer of the cake was wrapped in three chevron-like blue ribbons of fun, adding a bold touch of color. The final touch was two brilliantly red flowers that gave the cake a life-like beauty.
