Frog Themed Baby Shower by Karolien of Cups ‘n Cake:
This beautiful baby shower really brought out a genuine love of amphibians! Karolien put this event together with a wonderful creative touch that can inspire. In Belgium baby showers are put together after the little one is born, so this one was thrown for a lovely 2 month old little girl.
There were a wide variety of greens that were put into this shower that blended quite nicely together, giving this frog theme a beautiful look. The backdrop for the showcased dessert table was designed specifically for the little one with a personalized flag banner hung in front of a spring green. With extra little frog pictures, the background was set and ready to go.
The dessert table itself was set up fantastically. The table had a bright green cloth that was accented with a couple of white squares that gave the table a very neat and clean appearance. All of the little treats were spread perfectly and layered lightly to draw attention to all of the right areas.
The treats themselves were lovely. A tray of frog cupcakes stood tall in the center of the table looking fun and tasty. Each individual cupcake had a frog ranging from spring green to bright green, planted on top with little smiles.
There were adorable little frog cookies laid out on square trays on top of a layer of green, giving them a grassy, natural look that really worked well with the theme. There was a circular tray with little frog-face cookies with filling that looked quite delicious. There were even green truffles with sprinkles and swirled sticks to pick them up with.
An incredible amount of detail went into perfecting this frog themed baby shower and it turned out spectacular. There was not a spot left wanting at this fantastic event!
