This lovely Pink and Purple Bumble Bee Inspired Baby Shower was a fantastic twist on the classic yellow and black designs with the addition of two favorite shower colors, pink and purple! Created by the wonderful Liz Bassey Studios this shower was completely full of fantastic diy pieces that really made it unique.
The event was held outdoors, which is perfect for a sweet little Bee shower all the sunshine gave the vibrant lighting that ensured everything would stand out brightly. The venue was perfection with large shrubbery and trees overhanging that gave just enough shade to keep the guests nice and comfortable.
Guest tables were set in a U arrangement, giving everyone close proximity for optimal visiting. Fold out chairs with cushions were used to keep everyone very comfortable as they ate. The tables were covered in a bright yellow cover, allowing the bold black and white polka dot runner to be an attention grabber. Centerpieces made for these tables were absolutely adorable, little glasses with bright pink and purple flowers, along with a bee to ensure a perfect blending with the theme. A favorite Diy detail on these tables was baby to be’s name, Adeline, spelled out in curvy letters displayed in a cute little garden box with pink flowers spread over it.
For the treats, a fantastic table was laid out on a handmade candy bar cart, covered with delicious cake pops, banana splits and more. This party really stood out from the others with a whole station dedicated to serving yummy fruit too.
A onesie station was set up for everyone to make their own work of art for baby-to-be to wear. This idea makes a wonderful activity for allowing guests to use their creativity in a long term way!
No party is complete without a special advice journal for the new parents to enjoy reading, and this one went all out with an adorably decorated bumble bee book!
