While there are numerous themes to choose from, one of the most unique I have ever seen is the Rocking Horse Baby Shower by Yolanda Cerra of Kiss with Style. The name, rocking horse, brings nurseries and baby powder to mind. The color scheme of pink and soft yellow really accentuate the theme.
There are so many adorable rocking horse baby shower ideas here. The centerpiece draws my eyes: a single-layer cake with pure white frosting smoothed over it, topped with a cute baby bear holding a blanket and bottle. So simple and adorable.
Then there are treat blocks spelling out a ‘baby russian’ phrase and the trays of goodies are what next catch one’s eyes. One tray holds cookies in the shape of rocking horses, buttons and bottles; The other holds cake pops resembling cute baby rattles. The most stand outs for me is the tray of cupcakes with yellow frosting and edible pink pacifiers on top. They are the most exquisite.
The white backdrop with paper pom poms and a large baby safety pin against a baby pink tablecloth holding rocking horses, building blocks, bottles and jars full of white and pink candy on each corner only add to the overall effect. While in pale pink and white, this theme works for all pastel colors, and is a wonderful idea for any baby showers.
This is what Yolanda said about Rozalia’s rocking horse baby shower –
“The much anticipated follow up to the very popular bridal shower styled for Rozalia Russian was her adorable baby shower. I was delighted to style Roza’s baby shower for the impending arrival of her baby girl. Roza chose a soft and delicate colour palette of pale pink and white paired with fluffy tissue pom poms for a sweet and pretty aesthetic. The theme was simple, stylish and personalised ‘Baby Russian’. Wooden baby blocks, rocking horses and a jumbo safety pin were just some of the props incorporated into the styling of the table. The selection of desserts featured quintessential baby items such as cupcakes adorned with pacifier toppers, cookies shaped into baby bottles, rocking horses, rompers and the like. The celebration cake also featured a very cute teddy bear clutching a blanket
The guests enjoyed an indulgent day of champagne and canapés and took home a gift bag of sweet treats and a customised candle by Bombardier Designs.”
