Modern Chevron Elephant Baby Shower by Rosa of Red Velvet and Leopard.
Rosa really went all out with her Modern Chevron Elephant Baby Shower idea. She wanted a shower based on her Elephant and Chevron nursery theme and it turned out fantastic!
This shower was set in blues since she was having a little boy and she chose a muted almost sea blue that really made the whole décor pop.
The dessert table at the event was splendid, with not one, but two cakes and a variety of other treats like donuts. All of the food was layered in different levels of trays and perfectly placed drawing the eye straight to the center where she had a lovely layered square cake. As a backsplash to her table Rosa had a lovely grey and white, striped cloth that definitely completed the look.
The tables at the party were very simple, giving the whole area an elegant and white appearance. White picnic chairs and rectangle tables all strategically placed adding warmth and closeness to this design. The tables featured mason jars with peanuts and beautiful white carnations. Yes, I said peanuts, elephant’s favorite! What a unique and wonderful idea!
The welcome table was just lovely with photos of Mom to be and white branches for guests special wishes for baby that surrounded the beautiful frame. A chalk board saying, “Suddenly Life Has New Meaning To Me…” greeted the guests, a neat personal touch. A bucket of envelopes was place for everyone to write their addresses to receive thank-you cards, taking away the work of having to track down everyone’s information later, what a time-saver!
The gift corner had a cute idea of using a baby crib as the give holder instead of a standard table, personalized signs were printed and really added to this innovative decoration. There were even individually prepared kid’s favors that included animal crackers.
