Star Wars Baby Shower (or Baby Sprinkle as it was for a 2nd pregnancy) by Becky of Preparing for Peanut.
Becky organized an out-of-this-world baby shower for her friend Catrina with a wonderfully tasteful Star Wars theme. When it comes to colors, space is pretty dark, so Becky used a more vibrant color pallet of Kelly green and navy blue, just to brighten things up a little as well as card-stock cut-outs of stars as decorations on the walls, tables and even on her cake.
For the invitations, Becky used the classic Star Wars font and character silhouettes to let her guests know about the new Jedi in town, as well as what to expect from the rest of the party without going over-the-top.
Of course no party is complete without food, and Becky continues the theme with “Skywalker Skewers”, “Degabah System Egg Rolls”, and “Millennium Falcon Fig Pitas”. All with card-stock cut-out signs of Star Wars characters for an added touch. Finally, Becky gave out French macaroons with thank you notes attached to let guests leave with something sweet to take home.
