This Classic Storybook Themed party brought together an array of fun colors and decorations that were sure to create lasting memories as the guests celebrated this lucky Mom-to-be.
The invitations were one-of-a-kind illustrations done by Mom-to-be’s sister in law, who’s skill with drawing was quite fantastic.
The party was held outdoors, and the decorations lined every inch of the designated area, creating a full and exciting celebration area. With a very long banner of mini-books draped across the entire area, this Storybook Theme was a main attraction for sure.
The guest tables were set up family style, on long rectangle that was sure create an intimate and elegant way for everyone to visit together. Each table was covered in a sweet, light pink cloth that made the tables very inviting. With vibrant flowers set up in adorable little vases, the atmosphere had an almost ethereal quality to it.
There was a fun art table set-up for all of the guests to make unique onesies for baby-to-be, bringing memories that were sure to last for years to come. After all of them were painted up, they were draped on a clothesline with clothespins to dry.
The food table was a delicate blend of soft colors and bright flowers that together had a true storybook quality. The back drop was a mirage of colored papers that draped down and blew lightly in the breeze, giving a fantastic effect. There a wide variety of tasty snacks to try out filling the table spendidly. One of the most noticeable ones was the layered treat that was set on a gorgeous pastel pink cake tray, it looked as if it was asking to be eaten right up!
With vintages frames around favorite storybook characters spread throughout the party area and actual copies of fun books, this party really encompassed the idea of a classic story quite nicely.
