Slam Dunk Baby Shower by Lederle of Love Every Detail.
What a brilliant work! Everything is so perfect and fun! The very first thing I noticed about this fantastic dessert table was the Jordan shoes. They were frosted delicacies and detailed so well that they looked almost real. Each pair was carefully placed on top of a shoe box, really emphasizing the basketball approach to this event.
The table was covered in a lovely white cloth and showcased baby’s name right across the front in little basketball squares that were a very unique and creative way to introduce the shower. The back drop on this table was a vibrant orange mat that had the guests goodie bags tacked up in an organized fashion. In the very center was a mini-basketball hoop that really set the tone for the party.
The cake was done very creatively, a basketball right on top that appeared to have dropped right through the hoop that was on the backdrop. Frosted in white the cake was perfection. It was set on a nice tray and surrounded with little candies that matched the orange tones that the theme used.
Right underneath the cake tray was a lovely scattering of little basketball cupcakes that gave a full and attractive fill to the table. There were adorable little cookie sandwiches that had “sweet shot” and “slam dunk” flags in each all spread on an elegant white plate. In addition to the cookie sandwiches there were the cutest little cookies cut into shoes, basketballs, and onesies that were frosted to match the party.
The other neat little touch was a clear vase with little basketball suckers that were filled with, little basketballs. This party was very well put together and definitely makes a great theme for basketball fans!
