This Charming Backyard Baby Q Shower had a perfect blend of rustic charm and sophisticated style, being held outdoors on a beautifully overcast day. With the skills of aunt-to-be, Sarah of Cherry Blossom Events, this event was an all-out success.

The party was held as a co-ed gathering, so everyone could celebrate the parent’s to be just as they deserve. With a welcoming vibe of cozy elements, the outdoor space was set-up with precision. The entryway that welcomed the guests was gorgeous with a little picnic basket beautifully arrayed with vibrant flower blooms and a checkered pink and white fabric. A large chalkboard was written up with a cute welcome for everyone to see. It had a fantastic, rustic wooden frame that set the tone for the party sweetly.

In the back yard where the party was held, comfort was a key part of the arrangement. A large couch was actually set out, creating a VIP space that was luxurious and fun. Behind this couch a large balloon banner was hung saying, “Oh Baby.” It was even accented with long streamers in varying pastel shades. A coffee table made a lovely finishing touch to this cozy space, topped with an adorable bouquet of flowers.

A massive canopy was set out to keep guests comfortable, and several rows of tables fit perfectly underneath them. The wooden chairs went smoothly with the setting, adding to the rustic charm. Each table was lined in a neutral tone and had a sweet little vase of flowers too.

The treats were absolute decadence from the cake frosted in pink rosettes to the mini pies that were the perfect size for guests to grab. For the food, this party was a good ole’ fashioned BBQ so of course corn on the cob, brats and burgers were must-haves. Each guest was even offered a tasty little bottle of BBQ sauce to take home!
