This unique Chicago Baby Shower was a fantastic blend of style and fun that mom-to-be was sure to adore. Created by Purple Octopus Parties, this event featured a lot of fun favorites for every Chicago lover.
The Chicago flag colors, red, white and blue were used to create the base tones for the theme, giving a soft and lovely arrangement that worked well with all of the details.
For the snack table, a unique look was created with two stands that held the top rather than a generic buffet table. The base was covered with white, allowing the reds and blues to stand out brightly.
The backdrop for the table was an attractive blend of texture and tone that stood out fantastically. With a uniquely made flag of tissue paper and the theater marquee styled Chicago letters spelled out in bold red letters rather than the stars, this decoration was truly innovative. To accent the look of the flag, two lovely vases of baby’s breath were placed in front of it, adding to the three dimensional of the table.
One favorite part of the table was a ferris wheel holding cupcakes. No Chicago party would be complete without a shout-out for the ferris wheel at Navy Pier and this decoration was as useful as it was cute to look at. It was set on a light blue box, creating a spotlight effect.
The range of snacks was perfect with popcorn, donuts, cupcakes and cookies to enjoy as well as the classically elegant cake. The trays used to hold all of the goodies were precisely matched to the theme tones.
An additional bit of fun created for this event were a line of onesies made with Chicago flags on the front, giving baby-to-be a gift to remember!
