This Rain Shower Baby Shower party by Nellie of Nellie Design had everything cute and modern about it, from raindrop cookies to the printables, especially the “thanks for dropping by” thank you cards on the goody bags. The baby shower banner was adorable with the patterns. The playful zigzag chevron yellow and white lines as the main pattern for the whole party are a great neutral pattern. Playful flower vases that, of course follow the color scheme have the signature cloud with raindrops. The invitations were like little rays of sunshine with the lovely color scheme, asking not to bring cards for the mother to be but a book so that the parents had books to read to their little bundle of joy for bedtime stories. This gives the baby memories of who was there for them even before their born! Showing them who brought with book with an adhesive label that was put on the inside of the book for them to read later on.
Large pompoms act as clouds which was super cute and a creative idea from the designer. Even making the straws look like little clouds with cute toppers. Yellow and mint as the color scheme is great for those who either don’t know the sex or for those moms to be aren’t into the girly frilly things and just want a simple yet colorful baby shower. The drink station was a big focal point and as mason jars as cups and water bottles with the rain cloud labels and the word baby all over them. The cake pops looked like little balls of sunshine and looked even like baby rattles. So cute! This party was full of little details and still held a classical look for this mom-to-be.
