Where the Wild Things Are by Vanee of Pretty Penni Party Boutique.
Vanee had the privilege of putting together an amazing buffet that was a fantastic hit. This table was a wonderful blend of function and fun, decorated in an array of bright green colors that really promoted the safari feeling of the party. The table was lined with a deep green cloth that set the mood and it only got better from there.
The front of the table was draped in a unique paper chain of loops that each had a different wild pattern on it, creating a fun and crazy focal point. As a backdrop Vanee used a wonderful spring green umbrella that cast shade over the table, which was great since the event was outdoors. The umbrella was angled, really drawing attention and then covered in gecko decorations that brought the piece to life.
The top of the table was jam-packed with entertainment and desserts that would keep guests pre-occupied for an extended time. The entire table was layered in plastic grass, creating a wild outdoors vibe. The desserts were all very brightly colored and each offered a wonderful detail to the event.
There were vibrant M&Ms placed in a clear jar that was wrapped with sticks, giving them a tribal style that added to the theme splendidly.
Built to match were tootsie rolls, gummy bears and some sixlet type candies that were a rainbow of sweet just waiting to be eaten right up.
Blending right in with all of the lovely desserts were wild decorations. There was a panther lurking on a log that looked quite ferocious! There was even a palm tree set up with monkeys dangling from the top, encompassing the theme brilliantly. This party was bound to be a success with such a detailed and delicious buffet table!
