A Shabby Chic theme is always a win for a baby shower when sophisticated planners are at the helm and JDL Design and Event Planning did not let us down with this wonderful party for Baby Violet. Blending a range of soft pastel tones and wonderful florals together beautifully, the venue for the celebration was graceful perfection.
The dessert table arrangement was pure elegance, making it a whole centerpiece for the entire room to enjoy. A long table was expertly laid-out in front of a large, bay window that had a lovely sheer curtain hanging. The curtain allowed for soft, yet bright light to enter the space so it was easy to see all of the lovely details of the table. A candelabra hung right over the center of the table, adding depth to the decor. It was gorgeously decked out in florals that added to the shabby chic feel.
The table itself had a white cloth for a base, so all of the lovely soft tones would really stand out optimally. Across the front of the table a sweet arrangement of baby’s breath was laid out with little blooms added in perfectly. Adding to the natural appearance of the decor, a fun jar was filled with blooms and set to the side.
The real attraction to this dessert table aside from all of the tastiness waiting to be tried out was the fabulous way that baby’s name was displayed. Using a lovely vintage cake tray on each side of the table, a board was placed across them with VIOLET spelled out in tall letters on top in fantastic floral beauty. Little bunnies were set on each of the trays, accenting the baby name wonderfully. And of course a delicious and perfectly frosted cake waited directly below.
