Yellow and Turquoise Sunflower Baby Shower designed by Mar-Maladies.
What a beautiful party. Everything looks so fresh and inviting. It is a perfect theme for an outdoor shower. The whole setting looks charming. The white tables and the dark green grass really make the yellow and turquoise pop. It is a beautiful garden party.
The blue baby’s breath for the table centerpieces is so lovely and I like how cheerful the sunflowers are against the crisp-looking white tables. Bright pink as a coordinating color is a nice touch. My absolute favorite thing is the clothesline with “BABY” spelled out in pink letters on onesies—it is so cute!
The food is very cute and creative. I love the names given to the different options. Choo-Choo chicken wings is such a fun name. The colorful signs are a really nice and a unique way to present the food. And the block cutouts as toppers on the little cakes is perfect. Arranging the cakes on pretty clear cake stands is a nice touch, it allows the cakes to stand out and not get lost.
I like that blocks were used as part of the place settings. They are whimsical and keep the table from looking too “one level”. I like the way blocks were used throughout the whole party as decorations; it’s a really good way to pull the party theme together across the whole area.
The blocks work well with the flowers and neither one overwhelms the other. The giant blue and white blocks on the main table are adorable. They are the perfect frame to display sweets. The fun table runner is a nice playful addition and ties in well with the cute Gifts table. The hoops and ribbons tablecloth on the Gifts table is so cute and a neat way to decorate a table when you need to use all of the table’s surface space.
