This Sweet Blue Elephant themed baby shower was designed and photographed by Alice and Katie of KaLice Events. It had a beautiful blend of soft blues and greens that made it a baby shower to remember.
The event was held outdoors in summer in Atlanta under a covered patio so there was plenty of shade available for mom-to-be and the guests. With an outdoor fireplace in the center, the venue was sophisticated and elegant. The mantle made a fantastic place for a line of gorgeous blue decorations that really stood out. The was even an an adorable line of bibs hung directly over the fireplace creating a neat effect. Adorable Hats and booties for baby boy were also placed against the fireplace making this area extra sweet and lovely.
A lovely flag banner announced the sweets table in a unique way. With an adorable polka-dot table cover, the foods were all well complemented. There were tasty cupcakes with elephants on them set on a lovely white tray. Elephant labelled cups were used for holding little peanuts, an elephant favorite! There were even candy cigars for celebrating with. Chocolate covered pretzels brought the sweet and salty flavor into the mix nicely. And no baby shower is complete without chocolate, and this one had fantastic brownies with elephant labelled sticks that looked absolutely scrumptious. The cake was absolutely stunning. With a simple elegance a single tier was covered with white and topped with an adorable elephant surrounding with a welcome baby banner.
The thank-you gifts for guests were homemade, and wrapped with personalized labels that went perfectly with the theme. They were placed in a gorgeous basket with a sign thanking the guests for coming. Using a theme that went with the nursery decor, this Elephant Shower was definitely a lovely idea that was perfectly executed.
